Solicitor who joined Peterborough law firm as trainee is made a partner of the business
A solicitor who joined a Peterborough law firm as a trainee has just been appointed as a partner at the business.
Ashley Sutherland joined Hegarty Solicitors, based in Broadway, 12 years ago as a trainee.

Hide AdThe corporate law and contract specialist qualified as a solicitor two years later and has just been promoted from associate solicitor to partner.
Ashley, who studied at Leicester’s De Montfort University, said: “I am delighted. This opportunity will allow me to assist the firm at a higher level in continuing to develop and grow our already well established client base and excellent reputation.
“I look forward to the new challenges ahead.”
Tim Thompson, senior partner, said: “Although currently we are all experiencing a difficult period of time, we are committed to developing our staff. Congratulations to Ashley on her well deserved promotion.”
