Plea to use minor injuries unit at Stamford Hospital
People who require medical attention for an injury that is not serious or life threatening are being urged to use the Minor Injuries Unit at Stamford Hospital.
The unit is staffed by emergency nurse practitioners, who are trained in advanced life support. They can assess, diagnose and treat patients, prescribe drugs and order investigations.
The unit in Ryhall Road is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
