7,000 illegal cigarettes seized at Peterborough city centre premise
A raid at a Peterborough store has seen 7,000 illegal cigarettes and 10kg of illicit tobacco seized.
The raid by Trading Standards, in partnership with Cambridgeshire police, took place this morning (Friday, May 12).
A Peterborough City Council spokesman said the premises was in the city centre, but the name of the store is not being revealed at this time as investigations are ongoing.
