Four Peterborough residents arrested in major Cambridgeshire drugs operation which saw drugs worth £200,000 seized from city home

Four Peterborough residents have been arrested in a major drugs operation that saw drugs worth more than £200,000 taken off the streets.

Police arrested thirteen people across the county as part of targeted action to tackle county lines drug dealing in Cambridgeshire.
Over a two-week period (18 February-1 March) officers executed warrants and carried out targeted patrols in Peterborough, Cambridge, Huntingdon and London to track those responsible for running the deal lines.
They seized drugs including  cocaine, heroin and cannabis with a street value of more than £200,000 from a home in Kirkmeadow, Peterborough, while in Ellindon, Bretton, £17,000 of class A drugs including crack cocaine, heroin and a firearm were seized.
Across the county, including the Peterborough raids, drugs worth £218,000, seven weapons including a gas-powered pistol, sawn off shotgun, two machetes, knuckle duster and large knife and cash were seized.
Eight people have since been charged with offences around the supply of class A drugs, possession of weapons and human trafficking.
The force has also referred three people to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) as potential victims of exploitation.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris O’Brien who lead the operation said: “Drug networks, and in particular county lines, bring a whole host of criminality to our county, including violence and exploitation.
“Our efforts over these two weeks and beyond reflects our commitment to tackling county lines and protecting the most vulnerable people in our communities, in particular those at risk of exploitation.
“However, we cannot tackle this issue alone and we need the public to help us by reporting suspicious drug activity and identifying those who are being exploited.”

In Kirkmeadow, Peterborough, officers found cocaine, heroin and cannabis worth around £200,000 as well as a gas powered pistol.
Damian Pajak, 24, of Kirkmeadow, was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, cocaine, MDMA and amphetamine
Mateusz Tabor, 25, of Kirkmeadow, was charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, cocaine, MDMA and amphetamine and possession of a weapon
Konrad Miznik, 23, of Kirkmeadow, was charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs.
In Ellindon, Bretton, £17,000 of class A drugs including crack cocaine, heroin and a firearm were seized.
Aristides Perreria, 20, of Ellindon was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.
In Cambride class A drugs worth £270 and a knife were recovered.
Jagio Fenton, 24, of Brunswick Road, Enfield, was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine in Cambridge
In Huntingdon officers recovered £820 of class A and £360 cash.
Jordan Lang, 20, of Histon Road, Cambridge was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and criminal damage
In London a man was arrested for sending people to deal drugs in Cambridge. A large knife and knuckle duster were recovered.
Jerome McGibbon, 27, of Kingswood Road, London was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.
In Huntingdon officers intervened a suspected drug deal in Coneygear Road and recovered class A wraps.
Brett Wooding, 34, of Collinson Crescent, Sapley, was charged with conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine and human trafficking.
