A man has been charged with stealing bikes in Peterborough city centre.

Costel Zaplan, 25, of Cromwell Road in Millfield, was arrested on Thursday night (4 November) in Priestgate.

He has since been charged with stealing a pedal cycle and attempting to steal a pedal cycle, both in Priestgate.

Zaplan has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 10 December.
