Two men were arrested after a reported robbery in Peterborough.

Police were called at 10.55pm on Friday to reports of a robbery in Kesteven Walk, Eastgate.

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “It was reported that a man was assaulted and his phone and bank cards were stolen.

“Two men, aged 32 and 36 from Peterborough, were arrested on suspicion of robbery on the same road at about 11.20pm.

“They have since been released with no further action.”
