Woman arrested on suspicion of affray after knife report in Peterborough

A woman was arrested on suspicion of affray after police received reports of a person with a knife at a property in Peterborough.

Cambridgeshire police were called at around 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday) over concerns at a property in Mewburn, Bretton.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers attended the scene and arrested a 35-year-old woman on suspicion of affray. She has been released on bail until May 20.”

The spokeswoman added that no injuries have been reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
