A group of women at a city church cooked up a charity success at a food festival.

A group of ladies from The All Saints Marthoma Church in Peterborough arranged a fundraising event to raise money for Smile Train – the children’s charity providing free surgery for children suffering with cleft lip and palate.

The ladies - who are all members of The All Saints Marthoma Church’s Women’s Association - decided to raise money by hosting a traditional food festival.

In total the group raised £350 for the charity, and presented the money last month.
