Nepalese restaurant in Stamford hosting charity dinner for earthquake victims
Staff at The 8848 in Broad Street, Stamford, who have family in the heart of Nepal, have organised the charity dinner to help raise vital funds to help those that have been so badly affected by the quake.
Tonight’s dinner follows a successful evening held at the restaurant last night (Monday) which raised over £700, with 50 per cent of the overall takings along with all of the staff’s wages going towards those in need.
