In response to Barry Warne's letter last week I would like to say that Vote Leave in Peterborough has been running a very positive Brexit campaign.

The doom and gloom and scaremongering tactics have largely been the remit of the remain campaign. You only have to listen to Cameron or Osborne for two minutes to have this reinforced.

Those who wish to leave the EU have been called “thick” and been patronised by the establishment as to not knowing how to make up their own minds on this vitally important question. For some reason if you dare to want to leave the EU you are called unpatriotic and that you don’t love your country. What rubbish.

The only question you have to ask yourself on Thursday 23rd June is;

“Do I want my country to be ruled by a democratically elected UK Parliament accountable to you the voter, or would I rather have all the important laws and decisions made by an unelected, undemocratic and unaccountable European Parliament in Brussels?”

It is for you to decide. Make your decision wisely. The chance to have your say may not come around again in your lifetime and will affect your children, your grandchildren and the generations that follow them.
