A charity in Peterborough which is supporting the city’s rough sleepers has made an urgent appeal for long-life milk.

The Garden House in the Cathedral Precincts, which offers support and shelter for homeless people in Peterborough, and has played a leading role during the coronavirus pandemic, posted on Facebook: “We have an urgent need for donations of UHT milk.

“We currently use about 50 litres a week between the Garden House, our continued support of a venue accomodating former rough sleepers and also supporting former Guests in their new homes.
