A pony had to be rescued from a ditch after she became trapped when she was spooked by a firework.
Fire crews had to rescue Penny the Pony yesterday (Sunday) after she became trapped in the ditch on Wales Bank in Elm Part near Wisbech.
Wearing specialist in-water gear they rescued Penny, who had spent the night in the ditch, before returning her to her field.
