Peterborough passengers advised not to travel on East Coast Mainline today due to severe disruption

Passengers are being advised not to travel on the East Coast Mainline today because of damage to overhead power lines near Grantham.

Disruption is expected to last several hours along the whole line, which runs through Peterborough.

LNER are advising customers not to travel today. Your tickets dated for travel today, Thursday 3rd December, will be valid for travel on Friday 4th December.

Tickets between Peterborough and London will be valid on Great Northern railways.
