City sides take the Northants Under 16 county cup by storm
Peterborough Northern Star, Peterborough Sports Elite and Gunthorpe Harriers Navy are in the last eight but all face tough tests away from home in the next round.
Star saw off Earls Barton United 1-0 at Chestnut Avenue with a Phillip Creasey goal and will now meet Bugbrooke on January 21.

Hide AdGunthorpe hammered Raunds Town 6-1 at Campbell Drive with Aaron Altham and Andrew Irvine both firing doubles and their reward is a daunting trip to Corby Diamonds - 6-1 winners over Peterborough Sports (Sports had two teams in the competition) in Sunday’s third round.
Peterborough Sports Elite won their third round tie 2-1 at Northampton Black Panthers and their quarter-final opponents will be Mawsley.
In the Under 18 League Cup, Division One pacesetters Peterborough Sports were given a tougher time than expected by ICA Sports from Division Two. They went through to round three but only by the odd goal in three
Nkobi Thabani and Ayman Trabelsi scored for Sports with Oliver Piddington on target for ICA.

Hide AdIt was also tight in another Division One v Division Two clash as Stamford just managed to edge out Oundle Town 1-0 with a Matthew Wells goal.
Biggest second round winners were Deeping Blue. They beat March Soccer School White 10-0 with James Pam scoring five times.
JUNIOR ALLIANCE
Stanground Sports Under 13s showed Gunthorpe Harriers Navy no mercy in a top versus bottom clash in Division Three.
The unbeaten leaders romped to a 14-1 win against the winless basement boys with goals by Jack Calpin (4), Jack Hamilton (3), Kai Ricky Morgan (3), Harry Drew (2), Sam Jarvis and Billy Catton.

Hide AdIn the same division, third-placed Glinton and Northborough Blue also amassed double figures. They beat Blackstones Black 13-1 with Thomas Wright scoring six.
Under 13 Division Four produced the biggest win of the day as Hungate beat Park Farm Black 18-1.
Leading the goal feast was Tommy Smith with five followed by Charles Pearce with four and Liam Simper with three.
Top individual scorers on Sunday were Thomas Clarke-Knowles, who hit seven for Oundle Town Under 14s in an 11-4 win at Blackstones, and Marcos Da Silva, who also smashed seven for FC Peterborough Under 12s in their 8-1 win over Park Farm Pumas Black.
