Get ready for massive European Championships football street parties in Peterborough
With 100 days to go until the delayed Euro 2020 tournament kicks off, Peterborough’s Street Parties team are in talks with a number of venues to hold street parties in June.
The team behind the incredible scenes in 2018 - when thousands celebrated England’s progress in the World Cup on big screens behind The Solstice - is looking to put on some of the best footballing parties the city has ever witnessed.

A spokesman said: “We have put on just over 20 safe and secure events to the over-18s market and built up an amazing reputation which has seen us gain coverage from all the national media across the
world. The icing on the cake was contact from BAFTA asking for coverage from our World Cup events for their promotional campaign before the last awards ceremony.
“We take very big pride on these very successful and well-run Street Party events in the city centre of Peterborough, attracting massive crowds of all over 18s to the arenas we have held them in, gaining respect not only from the public who have come to these but also all the local authorities and services operating on the given nights.
