Coronavirus: Peterborough United begin selling branded face masks

Official Peterborough United face masks are being sold by the club.

Posh are offering three different branded face masks which are due to be delivered in the middle of June.

Masks are priced at £7 for adults and £6 for a Peter Burrow children’s mask.

For each mask sold, £1 will be donated to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice.

The club said: “Our masks are CE certified barrier masks and are made of two-ply interlock polyester. They are machine washable at 60 degrees, making them fully reusable, and are designed to complement protective measures and social distancing rules.

“Face coverings should not be used by children under the age of 2 or those who may find it difficult to manage them correctly. For example, primary age children unassisted, or those with respiratory conditions.

Face masks do NOT provide medical-grade protection; the club is not taking any supplies of personal protection equipment away from front-line key workers.”
