WORLD MASTERS: Bourne ace Gray pipped by world number two
Gray, the resident professional at Bourne Snooker Club, was pipped 8-6 by world number two Chang Jung Lin from Taiwan in the 16-man invitation event.
Gray had earned his place by rising to to the top of the European rankings. He picked up $3,000 in prize money despite his early loss.
The event was won by David Alcaide of Spain who beat Scotland’s Jayson Shaw 8-7 in the final.
